Where Will Willa Wander? is a small family trip-planning app. This page says plainly what it stores, who it goes to, and how to delete it.

What we store

• Your account. A display name, a username, and a password. Adults who sign up themselves also give an email address, which doubles as their username. Passwords are stored only as a salted hash — we cannot read them.
• Accounts you create for others. A household admin can create accounts for the people they travel with, including children. Those accounts need a name, a username and a password — no email address, no date of birth, nothing else.
• Your trips. The places you type in, the suggestions you keep, the pitches that get generated, and any scores or comments you leave.

What we don't do

There is no advertising, no analytics, no tracking across other apps or websites, and nothing is sold or shared with data brokers. We do not ask for your location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone.

Where it goes

• Anthropic. To write suggestions and pitches, the trip details you enter — the city, dates, who is travelling and any notes you add — are sent to Anthropic's Claude API. Don't put anything in those fields you wouldn't want processed by a third party.
• Hosting. The app and its database run on Vercel and Prisma Postgres, on servers in the United States.

Children

A child's account can only be created by the adult who runs the household account, from inside the app, and it requires no personal information beyond a first name and a password that the adult chooses. Children cannot sign themselves up. If you believe a child's information has been collected in a way you didn't intend, contact us and we will delete it.

Share links

When you share a pitch, the app creates a long random link that anyone holding it can open without an account. Treat it like a secret: anyone you forward it to can read that trip. Scores and comments from family members are only visible to signed-in viewers, and you can switch a link off at any time from the pitch.

Deleting your data

You can delete your account from inside the app — it is on the trips screen — and on the website at /delete-account. Deleting an account permanently removes its trips, pitches, share links and scores. There is no recovery.
